We’re excited to welcome you to the Ottawa Chinatown Mid-Autumn Night Market 2026, a vibrant three-day celebration of food, culture, entertainment, and community in the heart of Ottawa’s Chinatown.
This September, Somerset Street will once again come alive with the sights, sounds, and flavors of a traditional night market. Enjoy a wide variety of street food, local vendors, live performances, and festive activities inspired by the spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Bring your family and friends, explore Chinatown, discover something delicious, and celebrate one of the most important traditional festivals in Chinese and East Asian culture. The event takes place on Somerset St. West in Chinatown, between Bronson Ave. and Bell St., downtown Ottawa. A: Due to road closures, the event is only accessible for pedestrians and local traffic. Please park cars in other city parking lots outside the event venue.

A: Transit is the best way to get to the Ottawa Chinatown Night Market, with bus routes 10 and 11 stopping near the intersection of Bronson and Somerset. Use OC Transpo’s Travel Planner to find your travel options.
Q: Are there any liquor vendors?
A: NO. It is an alcohol free event. You will find many fully licensed restaurants on the street, including Spark Beer, our local brewery.
Q: Are there any washrooms?
A: Yes. Mobile potties and sanitizer stations provided.

A: Yes, but please keep pets leashed at all times.
